Nine Arch Bridge

Rawana water fall
Ravana Falls is situated near the town of Ella in the Uva Province of Sri Lanka. The waterfall is approximately 25 meters (82 feet) in height, making it one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka. There is a small cave-like opening behind the waterfall, and visitors can explore this area. The cave is often associated with the legend of Ravana and Princess Sita.

Upper Diyaluma
Diyaluma Falls is located near the town of Koslanda in the Badulla District of Sri Lanka. It's approximately 6 kilometers away from the town of Wellawaya. Diyaluma Falls is known for its impressive height. It has a total height of around 220 meters (720 feet), making it the second-highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. The waterfall is divided into multiple tiers, and there are several natural pools formed by the cascading water. These pools provide opportunities for swimming and relaxation.

Ellewela water fall
Ellewala Waterfall is situated in the Monaragala district. It is 4 – 5 meters high and is accessible via the Ella – Wellawaya Road. Ellewala Waterfall is located hidden inside the jungle approximately 5 km from the Wellawaya town. The natural pool at the base of the waterfall is the ideal location to enjoy a bath. From Ella travel about 20 km along the Ella – Wellawaya Road until you reach the Rathmal Vehera Ancient Temple. Take the road opposite to the temple which will lead to the Ellelwala Waterfall.

Secret water fall
The Ella Gap allows holidaymakers to witness truly spectacular views of the plains in the south of the island with ease. Having seen such panoramic sceneries, many arrive in Ella with a feeling of contentment. If Ella’s glory could be summed up, it is the Ella Gap Waterfall that does it. Running from high in the hills down to Ella, the waterfall is quite spectacular. Visit the falls in the evening to bask in the sunset and get up close with the monkeys that gather around.

Lipton’s Seat – Tea Plantation
Lipton’s Seat is the name given to a huge area covered in tea plantations near Ella, in Haputale to be exact. Lipton’s Seat is actually a viewpoint on top of a mountain dominating the tea plantations with 360° panorama. This was Sir Lipton’s favorite view, the very one who developed the culture of tea in the region as well as the democratization of tea throughout the world.

Flying Rawana
Flying Ravana Adventure park is one of a kind experience available in Sri Lanka, located amidst the luscious green estates of Ella. Completed with its pride, Sri Lanka’s first-ever Mega zip-line. The two-wire zip-line stretches for more than half a kilometer, slides at 80kmph, and offers a bird’s-eye view of the beautiful hills of the island. Little Adam’s Speak
Our second hike in Ella was to Little Adam`s Peak, which we did in between the two longer ones. We did this trip without a guide. It is a fairly easy hike and the path is marked by signs so it`s easy to find, and very popular among tourists! So expect to meet many other people from all over the world on this trip! On the two other more remote trips we did in Ella, we hardly met anybody, just some locals now and then.

Ella Rock
Ella Rock is a famous cliff that hovers above Ella town in Uva province, Sri Lanka. Hiking is popular here because of the cliffs, peaks, and scenic bridges that cross the hill country. Hiking Ella Rock is one of the more challenging hikes you can take from Ella’s village but is the most popular. It takes in the countryside near Kithal Ella, Badulla, before leading to the summit of Ella Rock.

Train Ride
The Kandy to Ella train ride is the most beautiful train ride in Sri Lanka, if not in the world! Board the train and experience breathtaking views of lush green tea plantations, mountains, viaducts, valleys, and dense jungle. What’s more, it’s the perfect way to experience Sri Lankan life. Meet smiling locals on the train, wave to the running children along the tracks, and eat the spicy snacks sold by vendors who board at each stop. This is a must-do experience in Sri Lanka.
